Enabling Power Apps Model Driven apps for offline capability

Erstwhile with Dynamics 365 Apps and custom Model driven apps, setting up an app for offline capability shall require multiple steps

  1. You have to create offline profiles
  2. Add tables for offline mode
  3. Set users to offline profiles
  4. Enable the Model driven app for offline availability and then select the appropriate profile.

Well the latest release of Power Apps, all of these shall be handle automatically with just toggle option. Please note the feature is in Preview but I am pretty sure this will make it to Production.

To enable offline for a model driven app , select Edit -> Edit in Preview and open then Model Driven app and then click on Settings.

This will open a popup where you can enable the app for offline mode.

Any user having access to the app will now be able to use the app in offline mode. No brainer to mention that all your Dynamics 365.
