Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. In today’s blog I will discuss a very simple but useful feature which has been released lately.
When we browse records in our Model Driven apps or Dynamics 365 Apps, we frequently need to share the URL of the record to access it directly. As easy as it may sound, getting the link was rather awkward.
You had to open the record and get the link of the record from the browser address bar.
We no longer need to use this way. With the latest release, Microsoft has now provided the ‘Copy Link‘ button to copy the link to a record.
To access this, open the record and look for the Share menu item on the top right of the menu ribbon. Under Share you have three options.
- Email link – This option was there previously.
- Copy Link – The new option to get the URL of the record directly
- Manage Access – To open the share window.
Once you click on ‘Copy Link‘, you will get the below screen from where you can Copy the link to the record. Well, that was easy.
