These days Power Platform and specially Power Apps have taken over and erstwhile Dynamics 365 products have taken a backseat. However some of the old features are still gold today and one of them is the Document template feature introduced 3-4 year back.
Back then when it was released, it was quite a thing. It’s very much used till date and this blog is about one of the queries related to that.
Whenever we talk about document templates, we have two options. Either we can go ahead and created document templates from Settings section or end-users can create from the record.
Now the question is – How do I delete them? Deleting a document template from settings section is pretty easy. However how do you delete the personal document templates.
Quite easy it may sound but trust me, users coming to the platform may struggle as there is no delete option on the record.
To delete this, we need to go to Advanced Find and then search for the entity – Personal Document templates.
And there you find the option to delete.
In the same way you can share your personal document templates with other user(s)/ team(s).
