In this blog I am going to explain on how you can show a notification on Entity Home Page grid.
Please follow this blog to where I have been demonstrated to how to display notification on Dashboard. You would need a similar approach to insert a custom ribbon button and use enable rule to display the notification. Post implementation, it would look similar to the screenshot below.
